Supreme Court Practice & Procedure Bill becomes law
Supreme Court Practice & Procedure Bill has formally became a law.
The National Assembly Secretariat ordered the Printing Corporation to issue a gazette notification in this regard.
President of the country Dr. Arif Alvi sent this bill back without signature for the second time.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan had stopped the implementation of this bill.
After the completion of all the stages of approval of the bill, the National Assembly Secretariat has issued a notification.
Ruling parties reject the SC order to stop the implementation judicial reforms
According to the National Assembly Secretariat, the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Bill has now been enacted into law.
However, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry says that the Supreme Court has suspended the implementation of this law.
