ISLAMABAD, March 29, 2022- Six Pakistanis peacekeepers have embraced martyrdom when a helicopter of Pakistan Aviation Unit deployed in UN Mission Congo on peace keeping duties crashed on March 29.

Pakistan Aviation Unit is deployed in UN Mission Congo on peace keeping duties since 2011.

Exact cause of crash is yet to be ascertained. Eight UN peacekeepers on board including 6 Pakistanis Officers/ soldiers have embraced martyrdom.
