Sindh Protection of Journalists Act rules published

KARACHI, June 8,2022-:The Rules of Sindh Protection of journalists and other media practitioners act-2021, have been notified and published in official extra ordinary gazette by Sindh Government Press.

These rules have been formulated by Sindh Information Department in consultation with senior journalists, said official statement.

The process of formation of Commission under said Act was also been initiated.

Advertisement Policy-2022

Meanwhile, Advertisement Policy-2022, formulated by Sindh Information Department, was notified on Tuesday in official extra ordinary gazette by Sindh Government Press.

It will come into force with immediate effect, said official handout.

Jailer appointed Sindh Information Commission chief

The main feature of this policy was inclusion of procedure of advertisement on digital and social media platforms. This policy would repeal existing advertisement policy 2015.

Last week, Sindh Government constituted the information commission.
