Sindh govt to look after Ghotki rail accident victim girl Kainat

KARACHI June 25, 2021: The Sindh government has shifted critically injured girl Kainat, 12, who lost her parents, brother & relatives in Ghotki train incident, to Aga Khan Hospital for treatment.

Sindh CM Syed Murad Ali Shah in his tweet said that on instructions of Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto the injured girl has been shifted.

“We’ll look after the child properly”, Murad Shah said in the tweet.

On 7 June 2021, two trains collided near Daharki, in the Ghotki district of Sindh province, killing at least 65 people and injuring about 150 others. An express train derailed onto the opposite track, and a second express train crashed into the first roughly a minute later. Around six to eight bogies were left “completely destroyed”.

On social media this act of the Sindh government is being appreciated.

Social activist Rahima Panhwar says in her tweet: “Appreciated. Wishing her swift recovery. Hope she would also receive required support after recovery.”

Other twitter users Abdullah Sarohi, Kamran Khan, Shazia Adnan, Adnan, Raheela Baloch, and Muhammad Ibrahim has appreciated the act and termed it as nice.
