Shaikh Rasheed’s nephew arrested on his return from Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD, May 1,2022- Former Federal Minister Shaikh Rashid’s nephew Shaikh Rashid was arrested at Islamabad airport on his return from Saudi Arabia.

According to reports, Shaikh Rashid Shafiq had arrived in Islamabad by a private airline flight.

Earlier, a case was registered on the complaint of Muhammad Naeem resident of Madina Town Faisalabad’s against 150 people, including Imran Khan, in Faisalabad related to Masjid-e-Nabawi incident.

Former federal ministers Fawad Chaudhry, Shahbaz Gul, Shaikh Rasheed, Qasim Suri, Rashid Shafiq and Anil Musrat were also nominated in the case.

The FIR includes four sections, including sections on blasphemy that could lead to life in prison.

The protesters filmed the episode with their mobile phones.
