Imran Khan should apologise over Masjid e Nabvi incident: Shazia Marri

KARACHI, April,30 2022- Federal  Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Security Shazia Marri urged PTI head Imran Khan to apologise over the untoward incident of  Masjid-e-Nabvi that was directly done as a result of incitement and hatred that had been planted by PTI.

Addressing press conference at Karachi Press Club on Saturday, she condemned the act of abuse and sloganeering in the holy place on the incitement of PTI and its workers. PTI was targeting women in Masjid e Nabvi, the abuse of Mariyam Aurangzeb in such a holy place by people was highly condemnable act, she added.

Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Security further said that why Imran Khan was using delaying tactics to avoid the decision of  court in foreign funding case, it shows a clear sign of fear and desperation like a failed politician. When he sees no escape in foreign funding case, he is trying to malign election commission by mobilising people to protest against an independent election commission.

Ms. Marri said that there had always been some political differences among politicians and the political parties but the differences should not be resulted into humiliation and character assassination.

Shazia Marri said that the PTI has got no moral ethics and training and hence they had been inciting people to do such acts that happened in Masjid e Nabvi. Imran Khan should apologise over the untoward incident that was directly done as a result of incitement and hatred that had been planted by PTI. Where are 100 million jobs and 5 million houses as claimed by Imran Khan?  It was ironical that he claimed he was not Prime Minister to know or control Potatoes and Tomatoes. Imran Khan had destroyed the economy of country in his three and half years premiership, she further said.
