Shehbaz Sharif granted bail in assets beyond means case

LAHORE: Lahore High Court granted bail to PML-N president and leader of opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif  in assets beyond means case here on Wednesday.

NAB prosecutor said that Shehbaz Sharif  had no source of income other than the inherited Milli Ramzan Sugar Mill, and added assets were built when TTs from foreign countries started reaching.

Shehbaz Sharif’s lawyer said, if only one of the 110 witnesses of NAB had mentioned Shehbaz Sharif’s name, he would withdraw his bail.

After hearing the arguments of the parties, the court granted bail to Shehbaz Sharif against two sureties of Rs 50 lakh.
