PTI leader Shahbaz Gill has filed an application against Additional Session judge Judge Zeba Chaudhry in Islamabad High Court.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shahbaz Gill, who was arrested on the charge of inciting rebellion, has filed an application in the Islamabad High Court for action against the female judge Zeba Chaudhry, who remanded him to physical remand.
Shahbaz Gill, through his brother Muhammad Yasin Gill, has submitted an application to Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Athar Minullah and Member Inspection Team based on the complaint against Additional Sessions Judge Islamabad Zeba Chaudhry, in which she was asked to comply with the Judge’s Code of Conduct.
Further allegations of trespassing, negligence, helping to erase evidence of torture by ordering physical remand in the absence of the accused and affiliation with an opposing political party have been leveled in the application.
It has been said in the complaint that Additional Sessions Judge Zeba Chaudhry sent the accused to physical remand on August 17 due to political influence, she should not have heard the case, and disciplinary action should be taken against her.
