Security company's driver looted Rs 200 m from bank van
KARACHI Aug 11,2021 – The van driver of a security company, while taking money from a private bank in Tariq Road area of Karachi looted Rs 200 million and took away the camera and DVR installed in the van.
The incident took place two days back.
According to police, the security van carrying money from Tariq Road when reached I.I Chandrigar Road the guards got down with some money to deliver money to a private bank, meanwhile the, the driver took the van and fled. The van contained Rs 200 million.
After some distance, the driver left the van in a street and fled with the money.
Methadar police have registered a case and started searching for the driver.
Police said that the accused also took with him CCTV cameras, DVRs installed in the van and weapons of the guards along with Rs 200 million.
A case has been registered against the driver on the complaint of the security company. The sections of breach of trust have also been included in the FIR.
