Salary of the Chief Justice is higher than PM, President

 The salary of the Chief Justice is more than the President of Pakistan, Prime Minister, Federal Ministers. A meeting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC)  was told.

During the meeting chaired by Chairman PAC Noor Alam Khan, the gross salary details of the President, Prime Minister and judges were presented in the PAC.

Chairman PAC Noor Alam Khan told the meeting that the salary of the Chief Justice of Pakistan is Rs 1.527 99 million, the salary of the judge of the Supreme Court is Rs 1.470711.

He said that the salary of the President is Rs 8,96,550. the salary of the Prime Minister is Rs 2,01,574.

Chairman PAC Noor Alam Khan further said that the salary of the federal minister is 3,38,125 , the salary of the member of the National Assembly is 1,88,000.

He also said that the salary of a federal officer of grade 22 is 5,91,475.

The privileges of all these officials are in addition to this salary.
