RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi police have registered a case against Abdullah Hameed Gul, son of former DG ISI General (retd) Hameed Gul, under the provisions of terrorism for expressing solidarity with the arrested leader of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan, inciting people to violence.

FIR registered at Airport police station sub inspector Police Muhammad Umer as complainant said that Constable Hubdar Hussain showed him a video on his cellphone which had gone viral on social media.

In this video Abdullah Hameed Gul S/o Hameed Gul through this video said “Saad Rizvi is his brother, I condemn his arrest”. He threatened to give call to his organistaion Tehreek Jawanan Pakistan movement, and added if Saad Rizvi was not released there will be dhama dham mast Qalandar.

The complainant said, he downloaded the viral video from mobile fone for evidence.

Complainant further said Abdullah Hameed Gul through Jawanan Pakistan has created hatred and incited to create anarchy and violence, this may cause sense of insecurity among the people and challenge the writ of state. He added this may strengthen the protest and cause damage to state property. A case against him is registered under Anti- Terrorism Act 1997.
