Rains floods Quetta-Karachi and National Highways in Balochistan
QUETTA, Jul 15,2022- New monsoon spell entered a large area of Balochistan causing high floods in Nari River and Bolan River
National Highway at Mach and Quetta-Karachi highway in Lasbela have been washed away.
Heavy rains in Sherani, Harnai, Sibi, Bolan, Dera Bugti, Kohlu, Barkhan, Musa Khel and Lasbela have caused floods.
A new series of monsoon rains has started in Balochistan from Thursday and caused floods in most districts of the province.
Flood flow in Bolan River broke the bridge connecting Mach town with the National Highway, which cut off the ground connection of Mach.

High-level flooding in the Nari River has threatened the city of Sibi and the surrounding population.
Rains have been reported at Sherani, Dera Bugti, Kohlu, Barkhan, Musa Khel and Mount Solomon.
According to the Meteorological Department (Friday) today in Sibi, Bolan, Dera Bugti, Naseerabad, Jhal Magsi, Khuzdar, Kalat, Lasbela, Zhob, Barkhan, Makran, Turbat, Awaran, Panjgur, Ormara, Pasni, Giwani and Gwadar. Heavy rain with winds and thunderstorms is expected.
