Punjab ministers not to buy petrol at their own expense

LAHORE, June 4,2022- Provincial Minister Ataullah Tarar has said that Punjab ministers have been banned from using petrol with government money. Ministers will buy petrol at their own expense.

Talking to reporters in Lahore, Ata Tarar said that all the provincial ministers have decided not to take government petrol.

It may be noted that Sindh government has announced 40 reduction of quota for all ministers and officers.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to cut the petrol quota federal cabinet members and government officials.

Ata Tarar further said that the Punjab government would help the province which were  suffering from shortage of wheat.

He also said that it has been decided to keep a close watch on the borders of Punjab so that cheap flour is not smuggled. Punjab achieved the target of 5 million tonnes of wheat.

Ata Tarar said that Imran Niazi during his rule bankrupted the country and the nation, he plundered the country with both hands, the people’s money was spent ruthlessly on the residence of Usman Bazdar. The previous government didn’t fulfill a single promise?

Punjab to increase salaries

Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz announced the appropriate increase in the salaries of government employees in the budget.

Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz has said that the focus of the provincial budget should be on the common man.

A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Hamza Shahbaz in which the Chief Minister sought a comprehensive plan to provide relief to the common man in the budget.

PTI demand

PTI leader and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry has demanded that federal ministers, judges, top military and civil officials suspend their petrol allowance to express their solidarity with the nation.
