PTI is serious about the negotiations, Fawad

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry described the government as not serious about the negotiations.

In a statement, Fawad Chaudhry said that PTI is serious about the negotiations.

He said that negotiations can be held only within the limits set by the Constitution and the Supreme Court.

The PTI leader further said that negotiations cannot be outside the constitution, if there are no elections in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, it is tantamount to sabotaging the constitution.

He said that after the decision of the Supreme Court, the State Bank has not yet released the funds.

The State Bank has expressed its inability to release direct funds for the elections in Punjab on the order of the Supreme Court

Acting State Bank Governor Seema Kamal has said that the funds have been kept on the court order but they cannot be released.

Briefing the meeting of the Standing Committee on Finance of the National Assembly, Seema Kamal said that the money kept on the court order will remain in the account, we do not have the authority to release this money.

The Supreme Court ordered the State Bank to release direct funds of Rs 21 billion to the Election Commission for the elections in Punjab.
