PTI has placed three conditions in negotiations

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf -PTI has placed three conditions before the government delegation. The inside story of the first round of talks between the coalition government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has come out.

The dialogue between the two opened today at the Parliament House.

Sources say that PTI’s condition was that the National Assembly and both provincial Assemblies should be dissolved in May this year, the constitution should be amended for simultaneous elections other than May 14, Tehreek-e-Insaf’s resignations should be taken back for constitutional amendment.

Members of the ruling coalition and opposition PTI will resume talks on elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa tomorrow (Friday).

PPP’s Yousaf Raza Gilani, who participated in the negotiations from the government’s side, said while speaking to the media that the talks would be resumed tomorrow at 3pm at the Parliament House, during which the PTI would present its demands.

The parties of the ruling coalition would then be apprised of the PTI’s demands, he added.
