ISLAMABAD, Apr 27,2023- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was succeeded to get a vote of confidence from the National Assembly, as 180 members of parliament gave a vote of confidence to Shehbaz Sharif.
The National Assembly reposed confidence in the PM Shehbaz Sharif.
Speaker National Assembly said that Mian Shehbaz Sharif has taken the vote of confidence from the National Assembly, if Mufti Abdul Shakoor was alive, the votes of confidence would have been 181.
On the direction of the Speaker, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari moved the motion in the House.
Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the Parliament of Pakistan stands with the people, the National Assembly expresses full confidence in Shehbaz Sharif as the Prime Minister.
The speaker read the motion and presented it in the house, on which the members of the assembly moved the desk.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif decided to take the vote of confidence after consulting with the government MPs over lunch today.
Former President Asif Zardarin Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other treasury bench members attended the lunch.
