Prime Minister’s response to talks with Imran Khan

LAHORE, Oct 22,2022- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while answering a question about the talks with Imran Khan, said that he is ready to go to any extent for the betterment of Pakistan if there is seriousness in it.

Refraining from answering the question of Imran Khan’s meeting with the Army Chief, he said that my position requires me not to talk about it.

While giving a press conference in Lahore, Shehbaz Sharif said that it was decided yesterday that Imran Niazi is a certified thief and dishonest.

Shehbaz Sharif said that Imran Khan had said about the incumbent Chief Election Commissioner that he was a capable and honest man, the same Election Commissioner has disqualified him for corrupt practices.

The Prime Minister further said, “if you had sold the gifts and deposited the entire money in the national treasury, we would have appreciated you. Shehbaz Sharif said that there is no such law that first you sell the gifts and later deposit the money in the treasury, there will be no worse example of selling a watch first and later depositing twenty percent of the money.

He said that in 2018, Imran Khan was made the Prime Minister of Pakistan through the worst rigging.

The Prime Minister said that Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Hina Rabbani Khar have played an important role in this, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa played an important role in making this matter a success with great responsibility.
