PPP Activists Meet Fatal Accident Returning from Quetta Meeting

SHIKARPUR, Dec 1, 2023: In a heartbreaking incident, five young people from Nuushro Feroze lost their lives in a tragic accident near Shikarpur. The group, associated with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), was returning from a party meeting in Quetta on the occasion of the party’s 55th foundation day.

The unfortunate incident occurred at Shikarpur National Highway Janun Bypass, where the vehicle, reportedly belonging to PPP Naushro Feroze activists, overturned and plunged into a ditch. The high-speed journey, combined with heavy fog, is cited as the cause of the accident. The accident resulted in the untimely demise of all five occupants of the vehicle.

Victims Identified: The victims have been identified as Muzaffar Bhutto, Imtiaz Machhi, Ali Murad Shato, and Ghoto Taghar. Additionally, among those who lost their lives were prominent PPP members from Noushro Feroze, including Nowshahro Feroze PPP President Khalif Shakeel Ahmed Memon, Joji, Soomro Gahnu Taghar, Muzaffar Bhutto, Mir Ali Murad, and Ghulam Nabi.

Police Investigation: Shikarpur police have cited high speed and adverse weather conditions, particularly heavy fog, as contributing factors to the tragic accident. The bodies have been swiftly moved to the civil hospital by the authorities.

Mourning in Naushro Feroze: The entire Naushro Feroze district is plunged into mourning as news of the fatal accident spreads. The loss of young, vibrant individuals, including active members of the PPP, has left the community in shock and sorrow.
