PM’s adviser Dr Ishrat resigns

ISLAMABAD 31,2021- PM’s advisor on Institutional Reforms and Austerity, Dr. Ishrat Hussain has resigned from the post.

The President accepted the resignation of Dr. Ishrat Hussain on the advice of the Prime Minister. The Cabinet Division has also issued a notification approving the resignation of Dr Ishrat Hussain.

The notification said that the approval of the resignation of Dr. Ishrat Hussain will be effective from September 1, 2021.

Dr. Ishrat Hussain paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Dr. Ishrat Hussain Tuesday called on Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain.
Ishrat Hussain presented book on performance and decisions of Cabinet Committee on Institutional Reforms to the minister.
The book outlines strategies for spending reduction and institutional reforms.
