ISLAMABAD, May 24,2022- Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has disclosed that the PML-N had decided to dissolve the assemblies in two, four, five, ten days, but then changed its mind thinking that this decision would be tied to Imran Khan’s sit-in.

Talking in a Geo News talk show, Khawaja Asif said that the allies did not agree with the decision of early elections and they also persuaded us to change this decision.

Khawaja Asif said that last time Nawaz Sharif had allowed Imran Khan sit-in, now the place of sit-in on Srinagar Highway has been decided.

The Defense Minister said that if the writ of the state was challenged then the response of the state would be in accordance with the law. Let them come then you will see our decision making.

Analysts say Imran Khan wants to keep pressure on both Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

If Imran Khan could not get the date of elections through Long March, then he will be constantly on the streets or in jail. Reforms, Census, NAB Reforms, and voting right to Overseas Pakistanis will also face the challenge, the observers believed.

Hafeezullah Niazi said that Imran Khan is not coming against Islamabad government but against institutions. Imran Khan will not come to Islamabad but will sit at Peshawar turn.
