ISLAMABAD Oct 07,2021- Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that Parliament should be not bypassed and the legislation should be made by the Parliament, laws of ruling party’s choice are brought through ordinances.

Speaking to media outside the court on the occasion of hearing of Nooriabad power plant reference, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that if legislation is to be made, it should be done for the people.

He said, he see PTI nowhere in next elections.

The Sindh Chief Minister said that the government should maintain same criteria, and ministers whose names appeared in Pandora Papers should be dropped from the cabinet.

He said that the ordinance could be of short term benefit, PTI should consider that it is a political party, people will take stock of everything in the election.

The Sindh Chief Minister was asked whether the NAB’s authority over the projects approved by the Cabinet would go. If so would he apply for relief or will you challenge it together with the opposition? Replying to this question, Murad Ali Shah said that he has not received the final draft yet. Three different drafts are running. Parliament should not be bypassed such an issue. 

It may be noted that the indictment against Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah in Nooriabad Power Plant reference could not be filed even today. The court ordered all the accused to ensure their attendance on November 1.
