ISLAMABAD, Mar 16,2023- The court of Additional Sessions Judge Islamabad rejected Zafar Iqbal the request to suspend the arrest warrant of Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case.

The court, giving reserved verdict, maintained the order to arrest former Prime Minister Imran Khan and present him in court on March 18.

Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal remarked that it is hoped that the detailed judgment will be interesting to read, as every aspect of law has been looked into while passing judgment on the petition.

It should be noted that the court of Additional Sessions Judge Islamabad Zafar Iqbal of had reserved its decision on the request to suspend the arrest warrant of Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case.

During the hearing of the case, IG Islamabad Akbar Nasir Khan appeared in the court who said that what should he answer to the family of these police officers whose sons were mistreated in Lahore?

Election Commission lawyer Saad Hassan also appeared in the District and Sessions Court.

IG Islamabad said that no representative of Islamabad Police was allowed to meet Imran Khan, yesterday also Imran Khan was assured to appear in court, no one spoke to Islamabad Police in Zaman Park. Instead, petrol bombs and stones were thrown at them.

The IG Islamabad told the court that the policemen who went to execute the warrant were tortured, the policemen were unarmed, and there was no weapon with them.

IG Islamabad said that in the past it was normal for the police to bring the (accused) to court from their homes. I leave it to the court.

The judge asked IG Islamabad how much property has been damaged.

IG Islamabad replied that the police water cannon was burnt, 65 policemen were injured.
