Aurat March: Karachi administration grant conditional permission

KARACHI, March 11, 2023 –  District Administration Karachi has accorded conditional permission to Seema Kermani for Aurat March on March 12.

Deputy Commissioner South Karachi issued a notification granting permission to arrange Aurat March at Burns Garden and March towards Fawara Chowk March 12.

The deputy Commissioner in NOC letter said that organizer of the march Seema Kermani will abide 25 conditions.

One of the condition is organizer has been held responsible to get video recording of the entire event and present video CD to the Deputy Commissioner on the next day for record and analyzing.

According to another condition, no speaker will deliver any speech against the ideology of Pakistan: and the policies of the present government.

The permission letter further said, talk against Pakistan Armed forces, hatred among communities, extremism shall not be made by any speaker.

Sheema Kermani and other women rights activists did not hold March on 8th March to mark Women’s international Day and had announce to observe it on March 12.
