Operation in Katcha, 4 dacoits killed, 8 facilitators arrested

SUKKUR, Apr 16,2023- Four dacoits have been killed so far while 8 facilitators have been arrested during the operation grand operation of the police in the Katcha areas of Sindh and Punjab which continued on the eight day.

According to SSP Irfan Samo, there is an exchange of fire between the police and the dacoits.

He has said that several hideouts of dacoits have been set on fire and several facilitators have been detained, police patrolling has been increased on the Indus Highway and other roads.

Irfan Samo said that the safe recovery of the hostages is our first priority.

On the other hand, DPO Mahar Nasir Syal has said that advance is going on with modern weapons and armored vehicles in Katcha Chirag Shah, Punjab where there is also an exchange of fire between robbers and police, one more robber was killed in the exchange of fire.

He has said that so far 4 robbers have been killed in the operation and 8 facilitators have been arrested.
