Nuclear scientist Dr Qadeer Khan shifted to CMH’s Covid Ward

ISLAMABAD Sept 01,2021 – Renowned Pakistani nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan is shifted to Military Hospital’s Covid Ward the due to his critical condition.

According to a statement issued by his spokesperson on Tuesday, Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan was admitted at KRL hospital on August 26, after he was tested positive for Covid-19.

The spokesperson further said that Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan was shifted to Military Hospital after his condition deteriorated.

Dr AQ Khan is known as the “father of Pakistan’s atomic weapons program”. He founded the Engineering Research Laboratory, or ERL, to develop a uranium-enrichment capability. In 1981 ERL was renamed the Khan Research Laboratory, or KRL.
