Student Chandika Medical College Noshin Bukhari’s body was laid to rest in her ancestral graveyard Dadu after funeral prayers.
Fourth year girl student’s body found in room of Girls Hostel No 2, of Chandka Medical College Larkana on Wednesday. Rehmatpur Police Larkana said that Noshin’s mobile phone was taken into custody along with her heirs from a cupboard in the room and the room was sealed. Police also claimed that a letter has been also found from the room.
A senior police inspector, told on condition of anonymity that the incident was not a suicide but a suicide. The hands and feet are shaking, but so is the table cover.
Noshin was granddaughter of renowned Sindhi poet Ustad Bukhari .
After the body of 4th year student Noshin Kazmi was found hanging from Hostel 2 of Chandika Medical College, the students staged separate protests in front of the college’s main gate and the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat where they chanted slogans against the VC. college administration and demanded a judicial inquiry into the incident.
Noshin’s parents have demanded a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
The students Dr Merk Chandio, Dr Tanveer Ansari, Dr Umar Nisar, Dr Raqib, Dr Ibrahim Soomro, Dr Irfan and others said that Nimrata was technically killed in the same college hostel two years ago but unfortunately despite the passing of two years, the university administration has kept the incident under wraps. Now body of another girl student was found.
