ISLAMABAD: Due to the spread of the corona virus, all activities of the National Assembly have been partially suspended, while the National Assembly offices have been closed for five days from April 26 to April 30.

According to the National Assembly Secretariat, the employees have been directed to continue working from home from April 26 to April 30. If required, the employee can be called to the office on one hour notice.

According to the announcement, employees will not be allowed to leave the station. From May 3, the limited staff in charge will call the office if required. The areas include administration department, committee wing, legislation and special measures.

Meanwhile all offices of the Senate Secretariat have been closed for five days.

The Senate Secretariat said in a statement that all offices were being closed due to an increase in corona virus cases.

The Senate Secretariat offices will be closed from April 26 to April 30, the statement said.

The offices of the Senate Secretariat will be disinfected.

The normal activities of the Senate Secretariat will begin on May 3, the announcement said.
