Mother and daughter killed while returning from court in Qambar

LARAKANA Apr 15,2023 – A mother and daughter were killed while returning from court during the firing on a car in Qamber, while the other daughter was injured.

Motorcycle-riding gunmen opened fire on the car near the by-pass, as a result of which Sajida alias Baby wife Didar Bohar, her daughters Aqilan and Anila were injured. All in critical condition were shifted to Chandka Hospital Larkana  where the doctor confirmed the death of Mai Sajda alias Bibi, and her  daughter Aqilan, while another daughter Anila who is undergoing treatment.

On this occasion, Jamil Bohar, the son of the deceased woman, a resident of Bohar village in Taluk Qamber, told reporters that we were returning after attending the Qamber Sessions Court in a car, when on the way, when influential uncles Ahmed Ali Bohar, Rehmat Ali, Merel Bohar and others opened fire on our vehicle.

Jamil Bohar further said that his mother Sajda alias Bibi and sister Aqilan were killed in the firing and sister Anila was injured. However he miraculously remained safe during the firing.

He said that his father Deedar Ali Bohar, who is not mentally balanced to some extent, due to which the influential uncle continues to oppress them, today they have made him an orphan.

He appealed to the IG Sindh, DIG Larkana, SSP Qamber Shahdadkot and other officials to take notice of the matter and take action against the accused and arrest them for the murder of the mother and sister.
