Mobile app developed for general election security

A mobile app has been developed to enhance security measures for the upcoming general elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

DIG IT Irfan Tariq, speaking with Geo News, explained that the app will enable monitoring at CPO, DPO, and RPO offices, with the entire province mapped within the application.

DIGIT Irfan Tariq highlighted the diverse features embedded in the app, encompassing emergency alerts, health facilities, and an audio and video call feature.

Furthermore, he mentioned the deployment of body cameras on police personnel at 137 hotspots across the province to bolster security measures.
