Minar-e-Pakistan incident: 30 more accused sent to jail for identification parade

LAHORE Aug 22,2021- Another group of 30 accused arrested for disrespecting and tearing clothes of a woman on Minar-e- Pakistan have been sent to jail for identification parade, the accused were brought to court with their faces covered.

The Lahore court ordered a parade to identify 30 more accused for insulting a woman namely Ayesha and tearing her clothes the woman in Greater Iqbal Park Lahore. undress.

The incident took place on August 14, while police registered case after four days, when the video went viral.

Thana Lorry Ada police have registered a case against more than 400 people on the complaint of Ayesha Akram.

Police produced another 30 arrested persons before the judicial magistrate’s court and sought judicial remand for identification parade.

The court sent the accused to jail on judicial remand for identification. The magistrate had sent 40 people to jail on judicial remand for identification parade on Saturday, the court has so far ordered a parade to identify 70 accused.

On the other hand, police have arrested 30 more accused from Faisalabad, Sheikhupura and Kasur, after which the number of accused arrested in the case has become ninety-two.
