ISLAMABAD – The majority of Tehreek-e-Insaaf opposed the dissolution of two provincial assemblies – Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies.

According to reports, three meetings of senior leaders were held under the chairmanship of Chairman PTI Imran Khan to consider the dissolution of two provincial assemblies, i.e Punjab and KP assemblies.

In these two provinces, PTI is in the government.

Sources said that the Muslim League-Q is also against dissolving the provincial assemblies without the dissolution of federal government.

Imran Khan distances from Shahbaz Gill’s statement

The leader of Tehreek-e-Insaf said that the people of Punjab have given the mandate of the government again in the by-elections.

Analysts not support Imran ’s distance from Shahbaz Gill

Analysts said that it is unfortunate that Imran Khan and PTI distanced themselves from Shahbaz Gill’s statement.

According to analysts, PTI could have defended Shahbaz Gill’s statement in a better way, yet he was left alone. There is a lot of ambiguity in Shahbaz Gill’s speech. They say, not only Shahbaz Gill, PDM’s ally Ali Wazir is also in jail, no political party is strong enough in the country, some institutions are sacred cows, these institutions have some redlines, hence such cases are instituted.
