Land of Islamia College is owned by KMC: Secretary Education

Secretary College Education Abdul Aleem Lashari has said that the land of Islamia College is owned by KMC, Islamic Education Trust maintains that KMC gave the land on a 99-year lease.

Abdul Aleem Lashari said that the trust has not been able to present the lease documents in any court, it appears that the claim of the Islamic Education Trust is false.

Secretary College Education said that more than 7000 children cannot be left alone, the Sindh government will protect the students at every forum.

He said that on the order of the Supreme Court, the education department is submitting the rent of the colleges to the Sindh High Court, the land dispute is going on between KMC and the Islamic Education Trust.

Abdul Aleem said that the Supreme Court has restrained all the parties from taking any initiative until the decision of the Sindh High Court, but the Islamic Education Trust approached the subordinate court.

He said that the Department of Education and Colleges filed an application to become a party in the Sindh High Court, whatever the decision of the Sindh High Court is, the Sindh government will follow it.
