Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf – PTI rally – long march has been given permission by the Islamabad administration to hold a rally from Coral Chowk to Rawat on certain conditions.

The Islamabad district administration has set 35 conditions to make the rally peaceful.

Islamabad district administration says that permission has been given to PTI for the rally from Koral Chowk to Rawat route while Section 144 will continue to be enforced in the red zone and other areas.

As per the terms of the district administration, no blocking of any road will be allowed and no damage to public or private property will be allowed.

They say that slogans and speeches against the state, religion, ideology of Pakistan will not be allowed in the rally and action will be taken against bringing arms, weapons and batons etc in the rally.

According to the district administration, legal action will be taken if the conditions are violated.

The NOC was issued after Islamabad Region President Ali Nawaz Awan met with the Deputy Commissioner.

It should be noted that Tehreek-e-Insaf had written a letter to the Islamabad administration for permission to hold the rally.

Yesterday, Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Amir Farooq had remarked that the court cannot recommend a place during the hearing on the request for issuance of NOC for PTI’s rally and sit-in in the Islamabad High Court. PTI informs the date and time of the rally in Islamabad and takes permission from the administration.
