Lahore High Court approves Imran Khan’s protective bail in 9 cases

Imran Khan’s bail extended till March 27 in 5 cases

The Lahore High Court granted protective bail in anti-terrorism cases and prevented Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan from being arrested in 9 cases.

The court granted protective bail in 5 cases in Islamabad and 4 in Lahore, 10 days in 4 cases in Lahore, and 7 days in 5 cases in Islamabad.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s lawyers requested the court for 10-day protective bail.

Imran Khan appeared in the court to get protective bail in various cases listed above him, the Lahore High Court summoned him at half past five.

A two-member bench consisting of Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh and Justice Farooq Haider heard the case.

Imran Khan’s lawyer argued in the court and said that we do not have the details of some cases.

Justice Tariq Saleem Shaikh remarked that we will only look at the cases whose applications we have, we cannot give you a blanket bail.

Imran Khan said that there are so many cases, I don’t understand, take bail in one case, in the other case, there is an attack on my house like never before.

Justice Tariq Saleem Shaikh said that if you go with the system, it is fine, you should reconsider your things.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan said that I asked to shift the court due to security in the courtroom, it is a death trap, I said to provide adequate security.

Justice Tariq Saleem Shaikh said that Khan Sahib, this case has been mishandled by you.

Imran Khan’s lawyer Azhar Siddique requested the court to grant security bail for his appearance in the relevant courts, the bail request in the Tosha Khana case has become ineffective.

The lawyer of the federal government said that the details of the cases of other provinces were not found, the court should take notice.

The counsel for the Punjab government sought time to provide the details of all the cases.

The court directed to provide the details of the cases against Imran Khan in Punjab on Tuesday and also stopped the disciplinary action against Imran Khan till Tuesday.

When Imran Khan reached the Lahore High Court with a procession, lawyers and workers climbed the wall of the High Court, the police had built a fence outside the mosque gate, the anti-riots force sent them back inside the court from the mosque gate.
