The rains that started from last day in Karachi continued intermittently throughout the night. Due to rains and strong winds, the intensity of the weather has decreased. The rains that continued throughout the night have stopped in the morning. However light showers continue intermittently in different parts of the city.

The deep depression is moving at a speed of 14 kmph towards the northwest. Due to the deep depression, torrential rains are likely in Karachi, lower Sindh and other coastal belts.

Rains are also expected in other districts of Sindh due to deep depression.

According to the Meteorological Department, the humidity in the air of Karachi city is 87 percent. The city is reported to be overcast.

According to the Meteorological Department, the highest rainfall of 24.4 mm was recorded in Nazimabad.

The Meteorological Department said that 20 mm of rain was recorded at Faisal Base and 19 mm at PAF Masroor Base.

The Defense Housing Authority (DHA) received 17.6 mm of rainfall and Gulshan-e-Hadid 16 mm.

The Meteorological Department has recorded 12.6 mm of rainfall in North Karachi and 10.2 mm at Old Airport.

The Meteorological Department also recorded 9 mm of rain at University Road, Quaidabad and Saadi Town, 8 mm at Jinnah Terminal and 6.8 mm at Gulshan-e-Maymar.
