Jamaat-e-Islami leader Imtiaz Palari attacked in Nooriabad

KARACHI, March 13,2022- Some unidentified assailants attacked the car of Vice President of the Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh Imtiaz Palari, killing his driver in Nooriabad.

Jamaat-e-Islami leader Imtiaz Palari was on his way from Karachi to attend a wedding ceremony in his village in Nooriabad area when some unidentified assailants opened fire on his car.

The driver died on the spot, however he remained safe.

Imtiaz Palari told media over phone that he was coming from Karachi to attend a wedding ceremony in his village, Nooriabad.

Police say Imtiaz Polari went astray, while going to his village for wedding ceremony, where unidentified gunmen pointed to the Jamaat-e-Islami leader’s car and stopped the vehicle and the suspects opened fire.

According to police, the investigation has been started by collecting evidence from the scene.

The deceased driver was identified as Mohammad Ali Baloch, 45, the son of Shemil Baloch.
