Irfan Mahar murder case: Investigation team claims significant progress

KAARCHI Dec 06,2021- Additional IG Police Karachi and the investigation team informed the court about the investigation so far and said that significant progress has been made in the murder case of Irfan Mahar, Secretary Sindh Bar Council.

Talking to media, the investigation team said that they could not reveal the motive of the murder at this stage, the investigation is very sensitive so they could not share it.

The investigation team said that Chief Justice Sindh High Court is 100% satisfied with the police investigation.

It may be recalled that Chief Justice Sindh High Court had taken notice of Irfan Mahar murder case.

 On December 1, the Sindh Bar Council secretary Irfan Mahar, who was leaving school for a girl, was shot dead in a car in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of ​​Karachi.

The lawyers bodies protested against the incident and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah also took notice of the lawyer’s murder.
