Ali Muhammad Bukhari said that as per the law a certified copy is given to the parties as soon as the decision is pronounced. The legal wing of the Election Commission is saying that the decision was not signed by the member.

He said that the Election Commission is taking actions against the law which is unfortunate, there should be legal action on the actions of the Election Commission, if not signed by one member, then how can the decision be said to be unanimous.

It should be noted that the Election Commission had declared Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan ineligible while pronouncing the decision in Tosha Khana case yesterday.

A 4-member bench headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja pronounced the verdict in the Tosha Khana case.

What did the Election Commission say in the decision?

The Election Commission has said in its unanimous decision that we are of the opinion that Imran Khan is unqualified.
