Working on for availability of high resolution cameras at all the toll plazas
IG Sindh Police Ghulam Nabi Memon said that there has been negligence on the part of the police in the Parveen Rehman murder case.
While talking to ‘Geo News’, IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon said that there was negligence on the part of the police in Parveen Rehman murder case, we are going in appeal against this decision.
He said that there are defects in the investigation system which they are trying to remove.
IG Sindh said that efforts are being made to make appointments in every department on a permanent basis.
He says that the incident of killing a policeman in defense is also a basic police training issue.
SHC quashes sentences of the accused in the Parveen Rehman murder case
IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon said that the work on e-tagging of the accused is complete from our side, now this matter is with the sub-committee of the cabinet.
He said in a questioning manner that e-tagging will make it very easy to keep track of the accused. If the accused have basic rights, don’t the victims have them?
IG Sindh further said that the authority for Safe City Project has been established, working on the prototype of Safe City Project in the first phase.
He also informed that work is going on for availability of high resolution cameras at all the toll plazas of the province, uninterrupted power supply to these cameras is essential for the work being done.
