Governor Sindh issues order grant of 10 m to Karachi Press Club
KARACHI, (May 20, 2021) President Karachi Press Club Fazil Jamili and Secretary Muhammad Rizwan Bhatti called on Sindh Governor Imran Ismail at Governor House yesterday. Health card, grant and other issues were discussed in detail during the meeting.
The Sindh Governor told the officials of Karachi Press Club that the federal government intends to issue health cards to journalists and a policy needs to be formulated in this regard so that all journalists can avail this facility. The government wants to formulate a comprehensive policy with the help of the Press Club so that journalists can benefit from it without any discrimination.
The Governor Sindh also assured to talk to the Corps Commander regarding the lease. The issue of grant of press club was also discussed in the meeting.
The Governor Sindh issued orders and directed to allocate a grant of Rs. 10 million for the Press Club in the next budget.
