Further raise in electricity prices expected

A further raise in electricity prices is expected as the Central Power Purchasing Agency has submitted another request to Nepra to raise electricity prices.

According to Nepra, the Central Power Purchasing Agency has submitted an application to Nepra for the September fuel price adjustment.

Nepra says that the petition has demanded to increase the price of electricity by 20 paisa per unit, which will be heard on October 26.

It should be noted that the above application is for all electricity distribution companies except electricity. (News Desk)
