From June ministry of science’s approved fans to be sold

ISLAMABAD, Jan14,2022 – The Ministry of Science and Technology has issued SRO for low power consuming fans.

The SRO will be effective from June 2022.

Under this SRO, only fans approved by the Ministry of Science will be sold in the next season.

According to the Ministry of Science, 100 million fans are in use in the country at present. Due to the use of faulty materials, fans consume more electricity.

The Ministry of Science and Technology claims that the use of standard fans can save up to 3400 MW of electricity. Low energy consuming fans will also reduce the electricity bill.

According to the Ministry of Science, the saved electricity can be used in industry and other sectors.
