Flood victims protest in Quetta

QUETTA, Aug 27,2022- Flood victims blocked the national highway in Quetta’s Mian Ghandi area while protesting. The Interior Advisor Mir Ziaullah Langau reached to meet the protesters.

The victims blocked the highway for not taking timely relief measures from the Balochistan government.

On this occasion, Interior Adviser Mir Ziaullah Langau met the protesters.

The interior adviser said that at present the entire Pakistan is affected by floods, it is not a matter of any one region.

Balochistan: six more dams broken

He also directed the administration to take immediate steps to rehabilitate the flood victims.

The protesters opened the Quetta RCD highway, after Advisor held assurance and take measures.

Floods and rains claim 982 lives, highest number in Sindh

He said that Provincial Disaster Management Authority rescued 1000 people including women and children, who were stranded in flood water at different areas of Quetta city.
