FIA submits JIT report in Parveen Rehman murder case
KARACHI (June 19,2021): Director Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Babar Bakht has submitted the report of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) in the murder case of Director Orangi Pilot Project Parveen Rehman to the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).
The murder case of Orangi Pilot Project Director Parveen Rehman was heard in ATC Karachi.
During the hearing, Director FIA Babar Bakht also recorded his statement.
Babar Bakht’s JIT report has also been submitted to the court.
The court summoned more prosecution witnesses in the case for the next hearing and adjourned the hearing till July 5.
On earlier hearing the anti-terrorism court has recorded the statements of key witnesses of 5 JITs in the murder case of Orangi Pilot Project Director Parveen Rehman and issued summons to the absent witnesses.
Parveen Rehman was assassinated in 2013.
