Primary schools in Sindh to open from Monday

Schools in Sindh to open with 50% attendance from Monday
KARACHI, (June 19, 2021): Sindh Corona Task Force has decided to open primary schools across Sindh including Karachi from Monday 21st June.
It was decided also decided that all the shrines, amusement parks and indoor gyms in the province would be opened on June 28.
According to a briefing given to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah in the meeting, the number of corona virus cases in Sindh is declining, while the corona diagnostic rate has reached 3.9 percent.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that this reduction will continue as long as the people continue to implement SOPs.
The task force was informed in the briefing that the diagnostic rate of corona virus in Karachi is 8.08 and in Hyderabad it is 4.3%.
Vaccine situation
So far, Sindh has received doses of 32, 43,988 corona virus vaccines, while 2,873,857 doses have been used.
The Sindh Chief Minister was informed in the briefing that the Sputnik vaccine would arrive in the province in the last week of June, 1.5 million doses of Cynovac on June 21 and 400,000 doses of Pakvac on June 23.
It was decided at the meeting that vaccination centers would remain closed on Sunday due to shortage of vaccines.
