Eminent stage, TV artiste Ismail Tara passes away

Eminent stage and TV artist Ismail Tara passed away at the age of 73.

According to the family members, the legendary actor was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Karachi for three days.

His family said that his kidneys had failed, he was shifted on ventilator this morning.

Remember that Ismail Tara got fame from the popular comedy program Fifty Fifty.

Ismail Tara has worked in many stage plays, television and Lollywood films. He is five times Nigar Awards winner for best comedian in Haathi Mere Saathi (1993), Aakhri Mujra (1994), Munda Bigra Jaye (1995), Chief Sahib (1996) and Deewarein (1998).

Ismail Tara was assigned five times Nigar Awards for best acting.
