Dr Alvi stresses on inculcating ethics in younger generation

KARACHI Aug 28,2021 – President Dr Arif Alvi stressed on inculcating ethics in younger generation at school and college level.

President Alvi  expressed these views while talking in a meeting held with delegation of  St. Joseph’s Convent School Karachi. The delegation was led by School’s Principal Sr. Elizabeth Niamat.

Parents and teachers have pivotal role in inculcating the ethical and moral values among the students, the president urged.

Appreciating services and achievements of the missionary schools since 1862, the President said that the building of St. Joseph’s Convent School Karachi will be preserved, which is declared as a national heritage.

The issues regarding sports ground of the St. Joseph’s Convent School Karachi will be taken up with the Governor Sindh, Alvi told in the meeting, adding that Governor Sindh, Imran Ismail will also be coordinated to look into these matters.

On the occasion, First Lady, Begum Samina Arif Alvi urged the college management to conduct awareness programs on the Breast Cancer among the young girls.
