Digital Photographic Exhibition and intra-university speech competition
KARACHI, Aug 10,2022- Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications, DEMP, Karachi, in collaboration with Iqra university, held an intra-university bilingual speech competition and Digital Photographic exhibition on Founding Fathers and Pakistan Movement at Iqra University on Wednesday.
The event was organised in connection with the Diamond Jubilee of Pakistan observed across the country.

The digital photographic exhibition on Founding Fathers was jointly inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Iqra University Dr. Wasim Qazi, Director General DEMP Islamabad Ms. Samina Farzin, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Sohail University Dr. Syed Jaffar Ahmad and Managing Director Oxford University Press Ms. Ameena Saiyid.

Five participants each in English and Urdu categories delivered their speeches and three top amongst them as per the judges’ evaluation were given prizes.

While commenting about the digital photographic exhibition, that is first of its kind by DEMP Karachi, the guests of Honour Dr. Dyed Jaffar Ahmad and Madam Ameena Saiyid viewed that the collection in photographic exhibition is “unique” in its nature and it reminds us of the struggle of our founding fathers in obtaining a separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent.
