Commissioner Karachi has issued SOPs for schools in Karachi after increasing cases of dengue and malaria.
According to the notification issued by the Commissioner Karachi, these SOPs will be applicable to all public and private schools.
Assembly and PT sessions in all schools have been suspended for a month, students in schools will wear full-sleeve shirts.
The notification states that schools will be required to conduct dengue and malaria sprays on a regular basis.

The notification has directed that all schools conduct awareness sessions on malaria and dengue.
It should be noted that 4676 cases of dengue have been reported in Karachi this year, 11 people have died due to dengue in the city this year.

The Sindh health department says that so far 324 dengue cases have been confirmed in Karachi, 39 in Hyderabad, 3 in Mirpurkhas, 18 in Benazirabad, 3 in Sukkur and one in Larkana.
