Dam Fund Details: Saqib Nisar has no Immunity: PAC

The Public Accounts Committee – PAC has decided to write a letter to the Registrar Supreme Court expressing indignation over the fact that the Registrar of the Supreme Court did not provide the details of the dam fund to the audit authorities.

The Public Accounts Committee said that former Chief Justice pf Pakistan Saqib Nisar does not have immunity, he should appear before the meeting.

The meeting of the committee was chaired by Chairman Noor Alam Khan in the Parliament House. In addition to the committee members, Secretary Water Resources, Chairman WAPDA and audit officials participated in the meeting. The details of the funds collected for Diamar, Bhasha, Mohmand Dam have not been provided yet.

The Chairman Committee said that the Registrar Supreme Court should not violate the Constitution and ensure the implementation of the orders of the PAC. He said the PAC may call for details of any matter.
